This sturdy hardback book is a great read. A handy size to carry with you if you read on the go. Each book of the Bible is introduced with a statement to say why it is named as we know it, a key text, a key term, and a one sentence summary. Then there is a teaching about what God's message is in each particular book. Each teaching is easy to read and digest. There are concise paragraphs filled with interesting information, helpful maps, beautiful photos of places mentioned, and other artwork. A great buy for your own home library or as a gift.

I love this book as it gives a great deal of information about each book in the Bible in a systematic method. The only problem I have is the small size of the book but that in no way impacts the information it has to help anyone looking for additional information doing research or just for a better understanding of the text for the times. I have purchased copies for friends and they all reflect the same type of feedback... great source of information for additional study of the Bible.

I wish you had warned how small the font is, especially the Ultimate Gude to the Holy Land. I have a craft lamp with a magnifying glass in the middle. I think will have to use that to read the 3 books I just bought.

I haven’t read any of these books yet. They came quickly and I like the video access that some of them have. As always I’m satisfied with my Lifeway purchase.
