December 21, 2022A very good book on story telling with data. I must admit when I look back on my old power point I could see I did alot of bad practices. The good thing is now that I am more aware about it now. The book guides you from the really bad example and rebuild the data graph into a very tight and nice presentation with focus on the data story. I can highly recommend this book to anyone that works with presentation of data to help you becoming better at communicate your data discoveries.
My two great loves

July 20, 2020I love this book. I got very excited when I saw it on a friends bookshelf and I asked to borrow it for the weekend. The idea was I would spend a cold winters weekend on the couch geeking out o data. The book is reallt accessible and an easy read with great examples, but alas I couldn't finish in one weekend sitting so I ordered it online. I order it on the Monday and to my great excitement received it that week.
If you love story and work with data, then I highly recommend this book.
Best data vis book out there

June 13, 2023There is so much covered in this book, yet so simply laid out. If you are a data storyteller, this book is a must. The biggest influence in my work has been the simplification of my slides, translating into a much clearer message.
