Not what I expected

I had been resistant to the book, mostly by the title and some snippets posted on Proverbs 31 Ministries FB page. I thought "how unchristian" to make boundaries against others.
This was both naive and because I had been fed the biblical misinterpretations all my life, having been raised in church.
Lysa makes a great case for God being the one who created our first boundaries. She explains that boundaries are not for others, but for ourselves. To keep us on track with our own goals, callings, and desires for being healthy. And to limit harmful access to our intermost heart and sanctuary of mind and body.
I'm convinced this book is a direct message from God via the Holy Spirit. I thank Christ Jesus, who's shed blood, made our reunion with Father God possible, so this message could be delivered.
Life Changing

From the first chapter, I immediately started to feel myself heal. I’m finishing chapter 4 currently, and now entering into a beautiful restoration, a much better place. This is the best $40 investment I have ever made. I bought book, study guide and journal and am watching the videos on YouTube. Thank you Lysa for writing such a profound “program”! I’ve been seeing Christian counselors since I discovered my husband’s affair 7 mo’s ago, but I’m finding the bulk of my healing in this book/study. I am doing this book/study at my own pace by myself, not in a group. Yesterday, I even wrote my own psalm, like David! I poured out my raw emotions, like David. The releasing was supernatural! Well done good and faithful servant, Lysa. We’ll done. 🙌

I purchased the book for my husband. I didn't know how he would think about the purchase. He is a wonderful husband and step-father of 40 years. He ALWAYS treated my boys like his own. Their dad was deceased at an early age. We all have something we struggle with and I was hoping the. Book would give him good insight. He was very thankful I purchased it for him. He read it once and is re-reading again. Said it gave him good insight on how to get peace. Thank you

Forgiving What You Can’t Forget is from a very honest and transparent view. It really draws the reader in because the author has covered a multitude of perspectives of when hurt happens and what coping mechanisms are used to deal with these issues. Normally I don’t write in my books but this one will make you want to take notes and mark of key passages. The marketing and packaging of the book is spot on, the book is budget friendly, and the story really draws you in. Park yourself in a cafe with a good drink as you will get engulfed in reading this book.📖 #Lysaterkeurst
