This Bible is a keepsake, a real treasure for a family to keep for generations. I gave it 4 stars tho because it has no maps or concordance, no index. I guess much like all Bibles used to be but I want to use this for my everyday Bible and those elements are missing. I can deal with it because of the incredible amount of beautiful illustrations embedded in the text. How glorious! Really something to just view in awe and focus on the Word represented in the artist's rendition. You won't be disappointed with this Bible, just remember, it is not a Study Bible, it is a Bible to study.

Absolutely beautiful Bible recommending this beautiful peace off work. Illustrated by Gustave Dore, it was defining work of his career. It is a awesome book to read and a beautiful peace of Bible on your coffe table. Beautiful illustrations easy to read. Beautiful gift for any household and even more beautiful in person honestly picture doesn't do it's justice. I have already bought 3 off the beautiful Bibles, it sits on my coffe table and every morning I pick it up and read a chapter. Absolutely love it and great price. Thank you

The matching of Dore illustrations and KJV are great. You can just get lost looking at this Bible. My main complaint is it is too bulky, heavy and unwieldy. I thought at 1350 pages it would be lighter. Would have liked Jesuss words in red and a more basic black cover with a cross. Some people like the cover but it is a bit too gaudy for me. Overall a good purchase. Smells great too. If someone would produce a leather Study Bible, KJV, with Dore illustrations with Christ words in red and intelligent notes, that would be perfection.

It is beautiful! I got it for my grandson for Christmas, so I haven't seen the inside, but I think it will be beautiful as well. I ordered a different one for my granddaughter and it is not as pretty so I may have to come back and order another one like this. Thank you!
