NOTGOOSE got new shoes this evening. Konig Heliogram 18x8.5 with Kumho PA51 235/55/18 tires. Looks much nicer now!

No issues whatsoever. This is the perfect setup for 18's in my opinion. Some people choose 235/60s over the 235/55 but the 55's are perfect to me.

No issues whatsoever. This is the perfect setup for 18's in my opinion. Some people choose 235/60s over the 235/55 but the 55's are perfect to me.
I did some size comparison to the stock Michelins 225/60r18 and I can put 245/55r18 and all specs same except width and weight. Only problem is the Michelins might last a long time. Spec say original tread depth 8.5, I now have 20,000 miles on them and tread depth is 7.5 at that wear rate they will last another 60K-75K miles.

Yes, the 245/55/18 is the same diameter as the stock tires, however after talking to another member who did the 235's they are really close to rubbing on one side. I was afraid to try the 245's. I may try them next, but so far no complaints with the 235's.

Yes it will. You are compromising less than 1/2" of sidewall. No way in hell you are going to notice that in your butt dyno on a vehicle like this. A track car? Sure, hell, tire PSI wins races. But a FORD Maverick daily driver that comes from the factory on 18's too, no way you'd notice.

Yea I stuck with 18s so I didn't lose the ride quality of factory. You really can't tell a difference from the stock 17's to the 18's. Air pressure is key. I ran 35psi cold in my 17's and with the 18's I run 32psi cold. No change.
